Description

These Air Fryer Chicken Meatballs with Parmesan are juicy, flavorful, and easy to make. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or party appetizer. Air frying gives them a crispy exterior while keeping them tender inside.

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 3 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley or 2 tbsp fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Mix the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, egg, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and parsley.
  2. Shape Meatballs: Take a heaping tablespoon of the mixture and form it into a ball. Place the meatballs on a parchment-lined sheet.
  3. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat the Air fryer to 400°F. Place the meatballs in the basket lined with foil or cooking oil.
  4. Air Fry: Air fry the meatballs for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until browned and cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. Finish Cooking: Cook the remaining batches, then warm all the meatballs together in the Air fryer before serving with marinara sauce.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave.
  • To freeze, place the meatballs on a parchment-lined sheet, freeze, then transfer to a ziplock bag for up to 3 months.
  • To cook from frozen, air fry for about 12 minutes until cooked through.
