Pasta:
- 8 ounces of pasta
Beef Ragu:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 sweet onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon instant bouillon cube (chicken or beef)
- 1 (15-ounce) can marinara tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
- Cook Pasta: Boil salted water, cook pasta per package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- Sauté Aromatics: Heat oil, sauté onion until translucent, add garlic, bouillon, and Italian seasoning.
- Cook Beef: Brown ground beef, drain excess fat.
- Add Sauce: Stir in marinara sauce, simmer for 8 minutes.
- Combine: Season the sauce, add cooked pasta, stir in parsley and Parmesan until melted.
- Serve: Plate and enjoy!
