Description

A comforting and flavorful beef ragu pasta dish with tender pasta coated in a rich tomato-based sauce, topped with savory ground beef and finished with a sprinkle of Parmesan and fresh parsley.


Ingredients

Pasta:

  • 8 ounces of pasta

Beef Ragu:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 sweet onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon instant bouillon cube (chicken or beef)
  • 1 (15-ounce) can marinara tomato sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta: Boil salted water, cook pasta per package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. Sauté Aromatics: Heat oil, sauté onion until translucent, add garlic, bouillon, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Cook Beef: Brown ground beef, drain excess fat.
  4. Add Sauce: Stir in marinara sauce, simmer for 8 minutes.
  5. Combine: Season the sauce, add cooked pasta, stir in parsley and Parmesan until melted.
  6. Serve: Plate and enjoy!
