Description

These Cheeseburger Calzones are a fun twist on a classic cheeseburger, all wrapped up in a convenient handheld package. Perfect for a quick and delicious meal!


Ingredients

For the beef:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder

For the filling:

  • 1/2 cup hamburger pickles
  • Thinly sliced tomato
  • 8 oz cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2-4 Tbs. mayonnaise

For the calzones:

  • Store-bought round pizza dough
  • Coarse salt
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • Everything bagel seasoning
  • Ketchup, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook ground beef with garlic and onion powders and salt until browned.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough and cut into four parts. Brush with mayo, then add beef, tomato, pickles, and cheese. Roll dough, pinching sides to create calzones.
  3. Place calzones on a baking sheet, brush with egg wash and sprinkle with Everything Bagel seasoning. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Serve with condiments of choice.
