For the beef:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
For the filling:
- 1/2 cup hamburger pickles
- Thinly sliced tomato
- 8 oz cheddar cheese, grated
- 2-4 Tbs. mayonnaise
For the calzones:
- Store-bought round pizza dough
- Coarse salt
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- Everything bagel seasoning
- Ketchup, for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook ground beef with garlic and onion powders and salt until browned.
- Roll out the pizza dough and cut into four parts. Brush with mayo, then add beef, tomato, pickles, and cheese. Roll dough, pinching sides to create calzones.
- Place calzones on a baking sheet, brush with egg wash and sprinkle with Everything Bagel seasoning. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve with condiments of choice.
