Description

A quick and easy recipe for Instant Pot Creamy Ziti that results in a deliciously creamy pasta dish loaded with cheese and flavor.


Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp minced garlic, dried
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz dry ziti pasta

Additional Ingredients:

  • 1 cup red pasta sauce
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Add the broth, cream, garlic, salt, pepper, and noodles to the instant pot in that order. DO NOT STIR, but ensure all noodles are covered. Adjust noodles if needed.
  2. Set the Instant Pot to Manual for 6 minutes. Allow a natural pressure release for an additional 6 minutes, then quick release.
  3. Stir in the red pasta sauce.
  4. Gradually add the cheese while stirring. The cheese will melt and thicken the sauce, which will also thicken as it cools.

Notes

  • This dish is quite saucy; reduce the amount of red pasta sauce for a less saucy version.
