Spice Mix:
- 5 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cornflour
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Prepare Spice Mix: In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch, cornflour, brown sugar, salt, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, dried thyme, black pepper, and chili powder.
- Prepare Chicken: Pat dry the chicken wings and toss them in the spice mix until well coated.
- Grill: Preheat the grill, brush oil on the grates, and grill the chicken wings for 20-25 minutes, flipping every 5 minutes.
- Serve: Once charred and cooked through, serve the wings hot.
Notes
- No grill? Use a grill pan or cast iron skillet.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to three days.
