Main Ingredients:
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 medium onion, diced
- 1 lb mushrooms, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
Sauce:
- 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt, adjust to taste
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper, adjust to taste
Instructions
- Preheat and Brown: Heat olive oil in a pan, brown ground beef, onions, and garlic until onions are translucent.
- Add Mushrooms: Saute mushrooms until softened.
- Add Flour and Broth: Stir in flour, then add beef broth, whipping cream, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer.
- Finish: Remove from heat, stir in sour cream, adjust seasoning, and serve over noodles, rice, or potatoes.
