  • 1 yellow onion, chopped (or mixed chopped green onion greens and yellow onion)
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • Pinch chili pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Start cooking the pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the macaroni according to package instructions.
  2. Brown the beef and onions: In a skillet, brown the ground beef in olive oil. Add onions and cook until soft.
  3. Add seasonings and tomatoes: Stir in celery seed, chili flakes, seasoned salt, tomatoes, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
