Butter Candle:
- 1 1/2 cups (310 g) salted butter, softened
- 4 cloves roasted garlic
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
- 2 sprigs fresh parsley
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
For Serving:
- 1 loaf crusty bread
- Baguettes, sliced and toasted
Instructions
- Clean and prepare the mold: Make sure the Pringles can is cleaned and dried thoroughly.
- Prep the herbs: Remove stems and chop the fresh herbs finely.
- Whip the butter: In a bowl, mix softened butter with roasted garlic, chopped herbs, pepper, and salt until smooth.
- Layer the butter: Spoon a layer of butter into the Pringles can, tap to remove air bubbles, add the wick, and continue layering butter until used up. Chill in the refrigerator.
- Prepare the bread: Cut a hole in the loaf of bread to hold the candle. Surround with toasted baguette slices.
- Unmold the candle: Carefully remove the butter candle from the mold and trim the wick.
- Light and enjoy: Light the wick and let the butter melt. Serve and enjoy with the bread and baguettes.
