Instructions

  1. Caramelize the Onions: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and a pinch of salt. Cook, stirring frequently until deeply caramelized, about 25-30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Mushroom Mixture: Add garlic, mushrooms, and thyme to the skillet. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until mushrooms soften. Deglaze with white wine, add flour, and cook until thickened.
